Library of Things Collection

Did you know the Barberton Public Library loans more than books, movies, magazines, and music? Our Library of Things Collection is now ready to be checked out!

The Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional materials including equipment, gadgets, tools, games, kits, electronics, and more — all available to check out for free with a library card. Need something for a one-time project or want to try before you buy? Explore the collection and discover your next new Thing to borrow!

Passport Services

Passport Services
Get your passport and passport photo at the Library! Our Customer Services staff are certified passport agents. These services are available by appointment only at the Library. Contact the library at 330-745-1194 ext. 1 to schedule an appointment.

When applying for a passport book or card, you must appear in person at the Library. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or guardians. See below what you will need to bring to the Library to get your passport.

Home Delivery Service

Reading and listening materials can be a lifeline to the outside world for people of all ages who are unable to visit the Library. If you find that regular visits to the Library are impossible, and you live in the Barberton City School District either in your own home, in an apartment, or in a nursing facility, we can deliver books, music, DVDs, magazines, and more to your door!
