We know a cool person like you keeps busy, so in September all late fines are forgiven! You just need to stop by the library in person. If you need a replacement card, that is also free for the month of September.
Adults who don't already have a card can get one just by bringing an Ohio ID with your current address. Students under the age of 18 need to have a parent or guardian present with ID to get a library card. Children are also eligible for a 3 for Me card if they don't have a parent or guardian with them. Your librarian can help you determine the best card for you.
Some restrictions apply. The Barberton Public Library cannot waive fees on materials owned by other libraries in the CLEVNET system, and fees will not be waived on accounts which have been referred to collections. Lost item and damaged item charges will not be waived. 3 for Me cards are available to children, whose account is above the fine threshold, and will not be referred to collection . Patrons must stop by the Library in person at any time during the month of September in order to take advantage of this offer.
