Spillette Meeting Room, Board Room, Study Room

The Library offers free meeting rooms to community groups hosting free programs or meetings which are open to the public. Meeting Rooms are accessible either by elevator or stairs and restrooms are conveniently located in close proximity to the spaces. The Library has two Study Rooms available at no charge, accessed only by a staircase from the Main Floor

Spillette Meeting Room
The Spillette Meeting Room is the largest space.  Located on the lower level, and accessible by elevator, it is perfect for bigger gatherings. It comfortably seats up to 100 people in a lecture atmosphere or, if you prefer, your audience can sit at up to ten tables. To reserve the Spillette Room please call Customer Services at 330-745-1194, option1 or use this online reservation form.

In this space, the Library provides

  • a large screen
  • a podium with a microphone
  • a DVD unit
  • a laptop that connects to a projection unit
  • a kitchen with a cooktop, refrigerator, and a large coffee urn.

Please note that the use of the kitchen requires a $10.00 maintenance fee.

Board Room
Also on the lower level is the historic Board Room with the beautiful stained glass windows from the O.C. Barber mansion. This space can accommodate up to ten individuals gathered around a large meeting table. This room is appropriate for adult meetings. To reserve the Board Room please call Customer Services at 330-745-1194, option 1 or use this online reservation form.

By requesting to use a Meeting Room you acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by our Meeting Room Policy. Please note that a staff member will contact you to confirm that your request has been approved. 

Study Rooms
The Barberton Public Library has two study rooms available on our mezzanine level accessible only by stairs. Users must be 18 or over to use these spaces. These rooms are available to be reserved up to two hours per day per person/group. Reservations can be made up to one week in advance. To book a study room, please call the Reference Desk at 330-745-1194, option 2 or use this online reservation form
