June 23 - Beach Art: kick back & relax with beach music and fun beach art projects including a Hawaiian Lei, sand art, and more. June 30 - Shark Week: enjoy everything sharks, activities, art projects, and more. July 7 - Fishing at Lake Anna: drop by and fish for a bit. We will provide everything you need and have some instructors with the Barberton Parks & Rec on hand to help our first-timers. July 14 - Ocean Explorer: the ocean is a mysterious place, join us as we dive in and explore marine life, ecosystems, geography, conservation, and even the ships that travel the ocean with a variety of art projects & experiments. July 21 - Black & Blue Oceans with Mad Science: led by Mad Science of Northeast Ohio we will devise and test techniques to handle the aftermath of an oil spill, in an oil spill simulation, and discuss how to clean up and prevent the pollution that plagues our oceans. July 28 - Tie-Dye Party: shirts will be provided (while supplies last) or bring your own items to tie -dye (limit 3). We’ll be out on the front lawn of the Library enjoying the sun and creating far-out fashion! We'll learn about their habitats, how they adapt and why conserving water is so important. June 20 - Wonderful World of Bubbles with the Bubble Lady: the Bubble Lady returns to Barberton Public Library to share a unique action-packed show with bubbles beyond your wildest imagination. June 27 - Magic of Michael Mage: this highenergy, interactive magic show is full of laughter and excitement! July 11 - Didgeridoo Down Under: a high-energy Australia-themed show full of music, comedy, puppets, storytelling, and interactive play! July 18– Matt Jergens Comedy Juggling Show at Lake Anna Gazebo: plenty of room for highflying juggling stunts outside! July 25– Outback Ray’s Amazing Animal Show: come prepared for hands-on fun, learning, jokes, and even squeals of delight! The Barberton Public Library is closed on Sundays through Memorial Day until Labor Day and will be closed on Monday, July 4. Our storytimes are inclusive and welcoming to all abilities.
